All therapeutic services rendered adhere to The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). HIPAA is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge. 

Coaching services do not adhere to HIPAA, and it is important to note that parents who choose to participate in the Facebook Community are volunteering to disclose their participation in the parenting program(s). Information is not disclosed about children who receive coaching services unless legally required.
